Ten reasons why we love Cheryl Cole

X Factor and Cheryl Cole make for perfect Saturday night TV. Here are our ten reason why we love her so.

1.The very public spat between Cheryl and Lily Allen rumbled on for ages. Lily accused Cheryl for her attack of self-doubt that saw her branding herself "fat, ugly and s***ter than Winehouse." Cheryl replied that she couldn’t “stand people who give it but aren't prepared to take it back." And then, chatting on Gordon Ramsay’s F-Word, she branded Lily Allen a "chick with a dick." Nice!

2.Cheryl isn’t afraid of church – Charlotte Church that is! The pair had a long-running spat a while back over their ‘music’ careers. In June 2006, Cheryl commented on Church’s advert for Walkers crisps saying, "Stuffing her face? Very appropriate." Church responded by telling a journalist "I’m going to knock her out if I ever see her."

3.Cheryl's not into the WAG scene.

"Footballers wives are just as bad as benefit scroungers. These women have nannies, they don't cook or clean, and never do a days work. What kind of aspiration is that?"

Nuff said!

4.Despite insisting she and Dannii are best of buds, Cheryl can't stop making comments about her age – Dannii is 11-years older. Cheryl said: "I happen to think that women in their 30s are at their most attractive. She's probably got more wisdom and more life experience than me." Innocent comment or subtle dig? You decide...

5."I always wear a matching set, a nice thong and a nice bra. I couldn’t wear underpants now."

We like a girl who isn’t afraid to talk pants.

6."I wish I was a bloke sometimes, there are a few things I'd like to try out as a bloke."

In the wrong job perhaps? There’s nothing like putting your foot in it when you’ve just landed a TV job most presenters would kiss Simon Cowell for!

8.Proving she’s still got it, Cheryl recently came 7th place in FHM's 100 Sexiest poll. Second year running don’t ya know!

9.Cheryl wasn’t going to let a little thing like a celebrity wedding break the bank. Her lavish reception and Roberto Cavalli dress, reportedly worth £110,000, was paid for by OK! Magazine, who splashed out £1 million to publish pictures of the nuptials.

10.Cheryl demonstrated her talent for impressions on The Friday Night Project, taking off Sharon Osbourne and Big Brother 7 winner, Pete Bennett.
