Cheryl Cole dazzles as she steps out with a big piece of bling

Ever-stylish Cheryl Cole was a picture of elegance today as she stepped out with a shiny new ring - perhaps a make-up gift from husband Ashley.

Whatever it was, the weighty piece of jewellery certainly made a handsome addition to the pop star's wardrobe.

The pop star was seen on a shopping spree at London store Harrods with her mother Joan.

Cheryl has reconciled with her footballer husband Ashley Cole and seems to be making a go of her troubled marriage.

And maybe the shiny piece of bling she's wearing, possibly a present from her alleged love cheat husband Ashley has something to do with it.

Cheryl and Ashley were seen leaving the Girls Aloud show at Newmarket Racecourse last week after a sizzling show.

But she did not join the others on their tour bus and instead drove home in her 27-year-old husband’s Mercedes instead.

Band sources say Kimberley, and Sarah, both 26, Nicola, 22, and Nadine, 23, refuse to have Ashley in their presence after his alleged playing away.

But despite not wearing her wedding ring, it seems Cheryl is happy to give her husband of less than a year another chance.

Cheryl recently revealed that she didn't like her figure and in particular her legs.

She said: 'I don't like my legs. I haven't got much of them for a start. It's just the thing that I don't like so if I was dressing myself I'd probably cover them up.'

Despite not liking her legs, Cheryl acknowledges she, like most women, suffer from cellulite and isn't bothered when the blemishes are highlighted in the tabloids.

She continued: 'If somebody sees a bit of cellulite on my legs that's been circled in a magazine and it makes them feel comfortable then I'm happy that I've made that one person at home go "Cheryl's got cellulite, it's fine".

'I do it myself. I flick through magazines and see Kate Moss has got cellulite and it makes me feel happier about myself. You can't help it.'
